Pixies extend comeback tour

PIXIES are to follow their recent European tour with a short US tour.

The US indie giants, fresh from a tour which included headline slots at the Carling Weekend: Reading And Leeds Festivals and two sold-out shows at London Alexandra Palace, will play four shows starting at the end of this month.
The dates are:

* Charlottesville Pavillion (September 29)
* Baltimore Sonar (30)
* Brooklyn Keyspan Park (October 1)
* Kingston Broadway Theater at upac (2)

The band, who reformed in 2004 after 13 years apart, are rumoured to be recording a new studio album shortly, the belated follow-up to 1991’s ’Trompe Le Monde’.
